The end result was a 13-point under-16 boys Coastal Classic title win over Hawkesbury Jets in the final.
They defeated Illawarra Hawks Red (51-39), Inner West Bulls Red (46-37) and Sutherland Sharks (81-52) on day one before a comprehensive 81-25 win over Illawarra Hawks White set up a semi-final showdown with Inner West Bulls Grey.
The 73-52 victory saw them take on Hawkesbury where they dug deep to take out the gold medal.
Coach Alex Crawford said it was a pleasing result as they look forward to the upcoming season.
"You never know what the other teams in your pool are going to be like, but we didn't go down there expecting to win," he said.
"Noah Pagotto scored 40 points in one of our games so he was probably one of our best."
The under-16 girls also had a very successful tournament just getting pipped by Newcastle Hunters in the final.
They were undefeated during all of their round games and coach and president Andy Caltabiano was satisfied how the girls performed particularly in the stifling heat.
Under-18 boys' coach Patrick Carey and assistant coach Gary Turnbull used the tournament as an opportunity to develop and enhance their skills during the pre-season.
The junior representative season is scheduled to start in March.
