The money was raised at Dahlsford Grove Lifestyle Village craft fair in September 2019 and donated to CareFlight.
CareFlight representatives visited Dahlsford Grove Lifestyle Village on Thursday, February 6 to showcase the equipment funded with the donation.
The donation went towards a pressure mattress, cannulation bag and syringe driver.
CareFlight registered nurse Kylie Osborn described the $4500 donation as absolutely fantastic.
"It's very much appreciated and it's all making a huge difference to patient comfort, and also to the ease of staff who work in the organisation to put their hands on equipment, and most importantly keeping patients safe and comfortable," she said.
CareFlight community engagement and events officer Skye Sharpe said the fundraising was such an amazing effort.
Village residents and the wider community supported the 2019 craft fair.
Craft fair committee chairperson Dian Barnes thanked the Careflight representatives for showcasing the equipment.
"I think they really did enjoy seeing where the money went," she said about the residents.
Mrs Barnes attributes the craft fair's success to the comradeship of residents.
"They love coming down and showcasing their talents within the village," she said.
