Willow and Oliver have been revealed as the most popular girl and boy names in Port Macquarie for 2019, according to data compiled by the NSW Registry of Births Deaths & Marriages.
The statistics are based on the mother's home address, by postcode and at the time of the birth.
Meanwhile, Jack and Poppy took out second place in Port Macquarie's popular listing for baby names in 2019.
Charlotte, Isabelle and Layla were third, fourth and fifth most popular female names for the Port Macquarie postcode.
Meanwhile Archie, Mason and Eli placed third, fourth and fifth most popular for the male baby names.
The data somewhat resembles the popular findings from across the Mid North Coast and North Coast regions.
For that data, Willow also took the top spot for a girl's name, while Jack was named in first position for the males.
Isla, Ivy, Ella and Ava followed closely behind for the most popular girl names for 2019.
Along with Jack - Oliver, Archie, Leo and William were also named in the top five across the Mid North North and North Coast regions.
While the Mid North Coast Local Health District could not supply the number of births at the Port Macquarie Base Hospital for 2019, the data is expected to be in line with prior years.
Mid North Coast Local Health District chief executive Stewart Dowrick, said number of births have remained steady in Port Macquarie over the past five years.
In 2018 there were 792 births recorded at Port Macquarie Base Hospital, a slight increase from the 754 births in 2017.
Meanwhile 773 births were recorded in 2016, 806 in 2015, 774 in 2014, and 822 in 2013.
The 2019-20 budget for Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) is $673 million, this is an increase of $31 million on the previous financial year's annualised budget.
"MNCLHD will also benefit from the NSW Government's $2.8 billion commitment to recruit a record 8,300 frontline health staff over the next term, including 5,000 additional nurses and midwives," Mr Dowrick said.
