Veterans cricketers with over 60 years of playing experience will battle it out from Sunday, February 2 to Wednesday, February 5 at turf wickets in Port Macquarie, Wauchope and Laurieton.
Tournament manager Merv Bourke said each game is also a social event for the 100 veteran cricketers.
"The growth and the numbers of veteran cricketers in over 50s, over 70s has been enormous. It's really a growth sport and it's a game that people can play until they're age 70 or 80," he said.
"It's great to have cricketers still actively involved in the sport and I think that's a lot to do with the comradeship.
"Veteran cricketers tend to spend a lot of time with each other at after match lunches that we hold.
"It's the friendships that are established and nurtured through these matches, that's probably the greatest attraction."
The number of teams playing in this year's Championships has doubled since its last outing in 2019.

"We're a little bit cricket mad here on the mid-north coast, and are really looking forward to see some outstanding, and competitive cricket action," she said.
"If you're visiting us for the first time you'll soon come to realise that we're a little laid back, and I really encourage you also to slow down a little, enjoying our beautiful environment and take the time to relax.
