NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) district officer Stuart Robb said at 2.30pm on Saturday, December 21 the fire remains at advice level.
The blaze is located near the Creek Trail, behind properties at Camelia Circuit.
The fire initially flared up on Friday, December 20 after it broke containment lines.
Mr Robb said aircraft are water-bombing the area and crews are working on the ground to strengthen the fire's containment area.
Machinery is being used to assist firefighters with their operation.
Mr Robb said people can expect to see a significant amount of smoke in the area.
The firefighting effort, Mr Robb said will be assisted by a southerly wind change, due to come late this evening. The wind change is expected to bring cooler temperatures to the fire zone.
As of 3pm on Saturday, December 21 the fire's level remains at advice.
Mr Robb said he doesn't expect the situation will escalate, unless the weather conditions change dramatically.
People are advised to continue to monitor the situation and follow their Bush Fire Survival Plan.
