AFTER months on the frontline, Hastings fire crews were treated to an afternoon of music and good times as a thank you on behalf of the Telegraph Point community.
The gig, featuring artists from across the region who came together in song for a good cause, raised more than $5400 for the Rural Fire Service (RFS).
The event, organised by James Gates, was held at the Telegraph Point Sports and Recreation Club on Sunday, December 8.
"It's all for the NSW RFS and the fires are still fresh in people's minds. Locally everyone has seen in their own back and front yards what these firefighters have done," he said.
