HARRY Askew's winning performance in challenging conditions headlined a successful weekend for team Mid North Coast at the NSW Interbranch surf lifesaving titles at the weekend at Bulli.

Askew's effort in the under-14 swim was a number of top six results for the team across the weekend.
Harry's older brother Finn also had a weekend to remember with a second-place finish in the open swim as well as top six finished in both the board, ironperson and the ski.
Coach Melinda Cockshutt said it was a hugely satisfying weekend.
"These kids are the kids that make the country and state finals, including the kids from our awesome branch," she said.
"It was a privilege to watch them on the weekend.
"The surf conditions were huge and many a nipper day or carnival would have been cancelled or modified as only the best could have handled the conditions."
Sydney Northern Beaches (1133 points) won the pointscore title from Sydney (1121) with Hunter (1005.50) and Central Coast (936) rounding out the top four.
Mid North Coast (446.50) finished in eighth position.
A number of other top six results were achieved over the weekend including:
- Tyse Thrower u13 6th in Swim, 4th in Board, 5th in Ironperson
- Tyse and Patrick Field teamed up to be 5th in the Board Teams and 6th in the Ironperson Teams
- Harry Askew u14 was a complete superstar and won the Interbranch Championships swim.
- Harry teamed up with Ben Hamel to take out 6th in the Swim Teams
- Tahj Thrower was 3rd in the u14 Swim
- Nick Caldwell was 5th in the u14 Board
- Tahj and Nick Joined up to come 2nd at Interbranch for the swim teams and 4th in the board teams
- Finn and Byrn teamed up to be 6th in the open board and 3rd in the swim teams and 6th in the ironperson teams
- Max came 4th in the sprints u17
- Darcy in the u14 came 6th in the sprints
- Max came 2nd in the flags u17
- Male rescue tube rescue (Finn, Bryn, Jesse, Max) 4th.
- Cameron u15 (Auraiha, Tyse, Camryn, Darcy) 6th
