Wauchope had some work to do when rain put an end to the match in the 19th over with them 3-69.
Darren Bourke was undefeated on 30 after they had lost the wickets of Nathan Lyon (21), Lindsay Hopper (7) and Mitch Quinn (2).
Adam Carrall had done the damage up the top of the order with the vital wickets of Hopper and Lyon to finish with 2-23 off eight overs.
Elsewhere, Taree United defeated Wingham by six wickets with Tom Burley hitting an impressive 74 not out as United chased down the 135 required for victory in the 33rd over.
Rovers continued their good form, defeating Port City Leagues Magpies by 33 runs in their clash at South Kempsey with Mitch Korn topscoring with 83.
Rovers compiled 7-213 before they bowled Magpies out for 180 in the 34th over.
The competition now switches mode to the twenty20 format until the start of February, providing teams with a chance to move up the ladder.
