Now the junior Australian football outfit has been crowned the Good Sports ACT club of the year.
The Bulldogs have claimed a $500 prize for implementing policies around alcohol management, tobacco, illicit drugs policies and healthier food options.
The club has also pushed to remove barriers to participation by providing free uniforms and waving registration fees for those unable to afford the costs.
"Our club values of community, inclusion, family and positivity, all align with the Good Sports values," Bulldogs president Kellie Hogan said.
"We have an active approach to creating a fun, safe and healthy environment."
Good Sports is federally funded by the Australian government.
