Laura Cudmore, Mandy McKinnon and Raquel Lievore will head south as they become the association's first three Australian women's representatives.
The original fixture on the Central Coast was postponed earlier in the year due to rain and the trio have had to deal with the other end of the spectrum in recent weeks.
Bushfires have wiped out thousands of hectares of land which has created a blanket of smoke across the Hastings that has sat for months.
However, Cudmore said it hadn't played much of a role in interrupting their training or preparation for their green and gold duties.
"We've just been playing local comp two nights a week," she said.
"It got cancelled for a week, but that was all and then Raquel and I train at F45 multiple times a week which is all indoors and Mandy trains at her partner's gym.
"(The smoke hasn't played much of a role) to be honest because we've only played local comp games to get some match fitness but that's about it."
They already have their sights set on possible selection in the 2021 Tag World Cup in Ireland and there is no doubt strong performances on Sunday will contribute to that.
A Trans-Tasman test series against New Zealand will follow in April next year before the World Cup side is finalised.
