Hosted by the Port Macquarie Art Society, the end-of-year exhibition is at the society's headquarters at the Manor House on the grounds of the historic Hamilton House on Hastings River Drive.
Over 150 pieces of art will be on display.
The exhibition continues to be a sought-after event for artists and art lovers.
Society art teachers and students are contributors while there are also contributions from the wider art community.
All the works on display are for sale.
Art teacher Judy Jelsma is a regular contributor to the exhibition and says it is a wonderful chance to have your art on show.
"This exhibition features entirely new art works," she said. "So it is exciting to see the new paintings on display.
"Some of the works are naive right through to right out there. We have realism works through to total abstract.
"There is always such a great variety of works. It is very eclectic," she said.
Some of my students, who have been painting for many years, will again be featuring their own works. I love to see the progression of their works.

"Some of my students, who have been painting for many years, will again be featuring their own works. I love to see the progression of their works."
Ms Jelsma said the exhibition was a good time for locals and visitors to snap up a high quality piece of locally produced art.
"This is a great venue to display art and we look forward to welcoming plenty of people to the exhibition," she added.
Society president Maureen Cooke says there are some quality works earmarked for the exhibition.
"Some of the work is just wonderful and a credit to the teachers and their students," she said.
"This is a major event on our calendar each year and this exhibition attracts many people."
Society members will attend the annual meeting at 6pm with the official opening to follow at 7pm.
The public is invited to come along to the official opening. There is no charge to attend.
The Port Macquarie Art Society exhibition is open Tuesday afternoons and Thursdays from about 10am and on Sundays in conjunction with the traditional Sunday markets day from 8.30am to 1pm.
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are by appointment.
The exhibition remains open through to February.
