Snow, who represented his beloved Tigers first grade side for 17 years after debuting in 1951 when he was just 15, is honoured to be the second rugby league player to be inducted from the Macleay.
"It came as a massive surprise to me but it's a great honour to be recognised," Snow told the Argus.
"It will be a special occasion to share with my family and friends who will be in attendance."
Snow, who earned the nickname for his long blonde hair, has lived in Smithtown his entire life and knew from a young age he would one day pull on the black and yellow jersey for his hometown.
"That is what everyone did back then, you played rugby league for your local town and it's what I wanted to do," he said.
"I have always been a sport fanatic."
The point-scoring machine was captain-coach of premiership winning teams from 1965-67 and the fullback set a Group Three point scoring record of 256 (eight tries and 116 goals) for a season in 1965.
Snow was a renowned goal kicker and slotted the ball through the posts more often than not from the most difficult angles.
The now 83-year-old hung up the boots after he had played 270 games for the Tigers.
Snow has a lot of fond memories of the years playing for Smithtown but he admits nothing beat tasting victory.
"The highlights were always when you won the grand final," Snow said.
"It would always be a great celebration and I would enjoy having a few drinks afterwards."
At the height of Smithtown's rugby league glory days, the entire community would make the short trip to the field to watch their local side compete.
"Rugby League was pretty big in Smithtown in those days, everyone followed it," Snow said.
Snow joins Kempsey's Llyod Hudson, who he had a friendly rivalry with on the field, as the two local legends in the Group 3 Hall of Fame.
