Weatherzone meteorologist Drew Casper-Richardson said Perth reached a top 40.4 degrees on Saturday, November 16. The same weather system is moving eastward across the country to NSW.
Mr Casper-Richardson said the weather system won't be as intense when it arrives in NSW but Tuesday, November 19 is predicted to reach a top of 30 degrees in Port Macquarie.
Meanwhile Monday, November 18 will be a touch cooler with a predicted high of 25 degrees.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are all predicted to range within the high 20s.
Mr Casper-Richardson said Thursday is expected to be accompanied with the strongest wind of the week, with a north-easterly from the coast.
Unfortunately Mr Casper-Richardson said there's no predicted rain within the next week to help firefighters on the ground for the Mid North Coast.
On Saturday, November 16 the NSW Rural Fire Service confirmed over 300 homes have been destroyed following the bush fires which have affected large parts of the state since Friday, November 8.
Across the bushfire season to date, six lives have been lost and 412 homes have been destroyed.
Smoke from the bushfires has prompted warnings from the Mid North Coast Health District.
