The first carnival of the season was originally set down for last weekend, but had to be rescheduled after unsettled weather forecasts were issued for Bonny Hills.
Wauchope-Bonny Hills Surf Life Saving Club competition director Elaine Walker said eight clubs from around the Mid-North Coast would be represented.
"We'll have probably about 200 nippers altogether," she said.
"Macksville, Scotts Head, Kempsey-Crescent Head, South West Rocks, Hat Head, Port Macquarie, Tacking Point and Camden Haven will all be competing."
Competitors from the Central Coast will also compete on the day in the 8-14 age divisions.
"We will include the older divisions up to masters, but they will only be doing it for fun," Walker said.
All the action starts at 8am.
