The Mid North Coast Ford Owner's Club is presenting the annual All Ford Day on Sunday November 3 at Westport Park in Port Macquarie.
Entry to spectators is free, entrant's fee is $10. The event is expected to attract car enthusiasts from across New South Wales including Tamworth, Inverell, Coffs Harbour, Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and Gosford.
Many car clubs from across NSW are expected to attend. The event is open to all Ford vehicles.
"Many of the vehicles over 30 years will be registered on historic plates, some are daily drives and there are, of course, those cars which only come out on special Show N Shine days such as this event," said Annette Magennis, secretary of the club.
All proceeds raised from the event will be presented to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service Hastings Support Group. There will be raffles, trade stands and spectators can vote for the Popular Choice Award.
Miss Dale of Velvet-Rose's Pin Up Dressing Room will be hosting a pin-up competition on the day - so come along and see the glamorous girls. The Miss All Ford winner will be awarded a trophy and sash.
Trophies will be presented by category for pre 1990 (Classic) and 1990 onwards (Modern).
Anyone who wants to help farmers doing it tough in the drought can bring along non-perishable groceries or pet food and the club will drop it into Wauchope Rural Centre which is collecting provisions.
Organisers are expecting over 200 cars so bring the family along, stroll through Westport Park and see a variety of Australian and US Fords from 9am to 4pm.
