Community members were delighted with a range of variety stalls and were serenaded by musicians all afternoon.
Ron Hankin, president of the Douglas Vale Historic Homestead and Vineyard said it was a great day had by all.
"Today we are delighted by the large number of people who have come to enjoy an afternoon here with us," Mr Hankin said.
"Our annual garden day has been a great success with lots of people coming to enjoy the great music and entertainment and have a look through the historic homestead.
"We have also had talks from various gardening groups in town which added a lovely touch to a great day."
