I attended the meeting along with 37 other residents.
Siren Road is incredibly unsuitable to this type of business - it is a narrow poorly lit dead end with no footpaths and nowhere to turn around.
No.14 sits on a blind corner, and if even one car is parked on the street, the neighbours opposite have difficulty in exiting their driveway.
One of the conditions is that all visitors and staff must park on the property - we all know that isn't going to happen.
It must be put on record that we have no objection to the type of business - it just does not belong in our narrow residential street - and nor does any other.
Council should be directing all such DAs to better-suited locations.
Leave residential as residential.
