The Port Macquarie Sailing Club sailed race five of the spring series on Sunday in a cool but easy southerly under cloudy but eventually clearing skies and with a run-out tide.

The catamaran division was won on both yardstick and handicap by Tony Kuhn on Stella ahead of Rob Barwick on Drift.
The monohull division had a number of close tussles, and was eventually won on yardstick by Andrew Richards in Impulsive, followed by Simon Gandy and Bridgette Taylor in Voyager.
Roger Shipton in Zazoo rounded out the top three ahead of Jeff Walsh in Firefly, Steve Bohlsen and Ed Molony in Interceptor, Stuart Symons and Liam Halmi in Elmo and Martina Holt in Spellbound.
Mick Hodgson in Big Blue and Tony Walker in Deep Purple.
Elmo took the handicap win ahead on Interceptor, Voyager, Big Blue, Impulsive, Zazoo 2 seconds ahead of Firefly, Deep Purple, and Spellbound.
Caitlyn Hicks, Cameron Halmi, and Jaiden Bourke in Puffin, won the junior division on both yardstick and handicap ahead of Jett Hodgson in Baby Blue, who found the conditions a bit too light for his small rig.
