About eight members of Hastings Woodworkers Guild made the toys including cars, fire engines and graders.
Guild member Robert Miles said the toys would make unexpected Christmas presents for children living in drought-affected areas.
The toys will be distributed through Lifeline in the Hastings, with the remainder going to families in the state's west.
Mr Miles said the woodworkers were very enthusiastic about the project.
"Being able to work together and do something for somebody else was really a good boost," he said.
"We appreciate the support of the club and the members for the project."
A selection of the toys was on show as part of the Hastings Woodworkers Guild annual exhibition and sale.
The Fine Woodwork Exhibition at the Port Macquarie CWA Rooms came to a close on Saturday, October 5.
The guild's vice-president, Rod Hoare, said the two-day exhibition, which showcased hundreds of items, was very successful.
Supporters admired the exhibition and many took the opportunity to buy Christmas presents.
New members are welcome to join the guild.
Members hone their craft at the Timbertown-based workshop.
"It [woodworking] can be a challenge and it can be very rewarding," Mr Hoare said.
