To do this, Cassegrain hosted a charity product launch to fundraise $5000 towards building wells in Uganda's Mukono District.
Over 75 people were in attendance and ended up collectively raising over $10,000. Various items were auctioned thanks to the donations from local Port Macquarie businesses such as Kenny Little, Your Life Fitness Centre, Akubra, The Rare Tide, Cue Deli, Beach to Bush Trike Tours, Comboyne Avocados, Yoga One Nine, Drury Lane Eatery and Petrie's Mitre.
The event was attended by the Melinda Pavey, NSW Minister of Water, Property and Housing and Mayor Peta Pinson who shared the stage with Wendy Tisdell, founder of the BridgIT Water Foundation; Pat Conaghan Federal Member for Cowper; Dr David Gillespie, Federal Member for Lyne and Akubra CFO Roy Wilkinson.
Little Ripples CEO Dustin Leonard is a tenured social-enterpriser, finding success through Hero Condoms, a social enterprise company donating profits of condom sales to providing reproductive health initiatives around the world.
