Richard McGovern, coordinator of the Westpac Helicopter Rescue Service said there are three types of mission: primary, which is motor vehicle and farm accidents, secondary which is inter-hospital transfers and thirdly, search and rescue.

"We save more people's lives by doing our inter-hospital transfers," he added.

On the golf day, team package for $200 includes golf for four people, a barbecue lunch, commemorative player gift and presentation function.

Hole sponsorship, priced at $500, includes an opportunity to promote your product and services on the hole sponsored, team registration for four people, a barbecue lunch, commemorative player gift and presentation function.
