The Port Macquarie Breast Cancer Support Group helps women pick up the pieces after breast cancer and the group hosted the event for Breast Cancer Network Australia.
Coordinator and long-serving member Judith Hutchesson was ecstatic with the turnout.
"It was just wonderful to see a sea of pink display outside the library and everyone getting into the spirit of the day and also wearing something pink," she said.
"We've been able to pick up two extra members from the pre-publicity and this is what we do; we help women through the journey.
"We also promote more community awareness and encourage more people to come along to our meetings."
Hastings Cancer Trust volunteers and fundraising champions Steve Thomas and Hazel Kirby attended the event along with Flamin' Dragons representatives.
Port Macquarie Breast Cancer Support Group regularly attracts about 20 women to its meetings.
