The community centre was filled to the brim with home-made food, cards, plants, wood work, clothes and music as residents showcased their creative talents on September 19.
Art and craft committee chairperson Dian Barnes said this year the residents were fundraising for CareFlight, the Australian Life-Saving Aeromedical Charity.
"We raised $3900 to educate nurses in Vanuatu in 2017, last year we raised $4200 for the renal unit at the hospital," she said.
"This year we have decided to give it to CareFlight. It's very dear to our heart.
"About 300 people have come through the fair.
"This is one way to show that we are alive and well, we're having a great time."
Resident John Reynolds was flown to Sydney by CareFlight after he suffered a massive brain hemorrhage at the age of 52. He spent four months in hospital.
"I would have been dead without it," he said.
"I was there in a couple of hours rather than road transport. It saved my life."
