They'll have their work cut out with St Joseph's Kempsey expected to pose their greatest threat of progressing to the year 3/4 regional final.
Kendall Tennis Club president Wendy Hudson said it was pleasing to have three schools from around the Hastings - Kendall, St Joseph's Laurieton and Port Macquarie Public School - all in the mix.
"St Joseph's Kempsey are the team to beat, but everyone's playing tennis and that's all that's important," she said.
Hudson said it was pleasing it will be the first time the club has hosted the regional final.
"We would have liked to have had it last year, so it's good to have it for the first time this year," she said.
Karangi Public School will be the other school to compete.
Winners will head to Sydney to compete at the state finals in November.
