THERE was almost nothing Cambridge McCormick didn't achieve individually throughout a successful 2019 campaign that saw her kick goals all over the place.

The only thing she didn't do was kick the match-winning goal in Port Macquarie's AFL North Coast women's premiership win.
Everything the Magpies captain touched turned to gold.
A league's best and fairest medal complimented a premiership medal along with a best on ground award in the 'Pies grand final success.
Throw in a match with the Gold Coast Suns in the QW Winter Series and the bar has been set pretty high for any future seasons' successes.
But McCormick paid tribute to her teammates for her individual accolades.
"It's special and awesome to get personal accolades but it shows how much support I've had over the past two years down here," she said.
"Especially coming down and being able to train with the men two years ago before the women's season started sent me on a pathway to be able to improve my game to this point.
"It has been a team effort and having my teammates supporting me to get these accolades is important."
Equally at home in the ruck or working her magic around the ground, McCormick said the secret to her successful season was pretty simple.
"A love for the game," she said.
"It's what motivates me to come to training and do things outside (of footy) and that's what motivates a lot of us at the Magpies."
The Magpies star admitted she didn't set any specific individual goals at the start of the year, so the premiership win was the icing on the cake.
"I didn't really set any goals other than just to be a good captain and a good teammate and I think I've achieved that," she said.
"It's definitely been an incredibly exciting year with lots of personal achievements.
"But I think the best thing was definitely being able to lift the cup with the girls; to get the premiership with the Magpies was pretty special.
"Winning the premiership only makes you hungrier to do it again."
Now all that remains is a call-up to the Gold Coast Suns as a draft pick for next season's AFLW competition.
"It's still a bit up in the air because the draft is coming up so it's more a wait and see about that," she said.
"There are always things to improve on.
"You can see towards the end of the year that your fitness drops down because you aren't dedicating the time to go running so that will help my game and my skills around the ground.
"Being able to ruck or rove; in the air is my strength, but on the ground I'll work on over the pre-season."
