Smith has been named on the bench for the tri-colours in their opening-round clash with the New Zealand Warriors at AAMI Park.
The match will be played as a curtain-raiser to the men's NRL Qualifying Final - between the Melbourne Storm and Canberra Raiders.
Smith missed the inaugural NRLW season due to a knee reconstruction, but has returned from the injury and is nearing full fitness.
She signed with the club in July and has worked hard to link up with former CRL Newcastle coach Rick Stone at Bondi Junction.
The former Port City Breakers league tag star was a standout with strong performances for NSW Country at the Women's National Championships earlier this year.
The Kempsey product has now ticked off almost every item on her rugby league bucket list with a State of Origin appearance for New South Wales the only one to elude her.
"I'm so grateful I've got the opportunity and to be able to say I'm part of the NRLW for the second time around," she said.
