Courtney Elaine Woodward, 25, of Pembroke Road, Leumeah appeared before Magistrate Price on September 11.
She pleaded guilty to all charges. The incidents took place on March 22 and March 23, 2019.
Her solicitor Alex White said Ms Woodward was caring for her son and her ex-partner who had recently been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
"In the first instance of driving while disqualified, my client was picked up by an RBT unit," Ms White said.
"In relation to the second matter, she was in her vehicle and parked.
"There is quite a clear history of illicit drug use, she is not working and currently is living in temporary rental accommodation at Crescent Head.
"Her financial circumstances are dire," she said.
According to court documents, Ms Woodward was found to have 1.2 grams of cannabis and 1.1 grams of methamphetamine (ice) in her possession when police searched her vehicle.
Magistrate Price said Ms Woodward needed to address her drug use.
"There is a lengthy history on her record," she said.
Ms Woodward was convicted and fined a total of $1050, disqualified from driving for six months and placed on a conditional release order for 18 months.
