More than a dozen teams have already registered for the event at Port Panthers from 7pm on Saturday, September 14.
Bravehearts provides protective behaviour strategies for children through the use of non-confrontational school presentations with mascot, Ditto the Lion.
Bravehearts Mid North Coast chairperson Jenny Watts said this event is not to be missed.
"It's a general trivia night with a mix of pop rock singing from the 70s, 80s and 90s between rounds of trivia," she said.
"There are lucky door prizes to be won. There are prizes for first, second and third placed winning tables and we will have a big raffle as well.
"We have donations from around town including 18 or 19 prizes donated by market stall holders.
"People can book a table or come along on their own on the night ($10 a ticket) and we will get them a table."
Funding raised from the night is contributed to the Ditto's Keep Safe Adventure Show which teaches children about personal safety.
"It costs us $12 each student to fully fund the child protection education through local schools and so for every person who comes along that is almost one child who receives this education," said Ms Watts.
"This year we educated local children at a cost of almost $20,000 and we are desperate to continue fundraising so that we can do this again next year.
"One in every five children will be sexually assaulted in some form by the age of 18. In 70 to 90 per cent of these cases the perpetrator is known, loved and trusted by the family.
"It's the responsibility of each and everyone of us in the community to protect our children."
Bravehearts received $6785 donated by the Port Macquarie Private Hospital in July. Funds were also raised during a fashionable outing to the Port Macquarie Race Club in June.
Tickets for the trivia night are available at the door for $10 each or by calling 0411 807 367.
