Matthew Furner, of Aldavilla Road, Aldavilla, appeared before Magistrate Price on September 4.
He has not entered a plea.
Furner was attending the hospital under the supervision of corrections officers on August 25, 2019.
Furner has been charged with, escaping lawful custody, assaulting an officer and common assault, stealing a car, two counts of larceny, entering lands, driving dangerously during a police pursuit, driving recklessly or dangerously, driving while disqualified and driving a car with false number plates.
Magistrate Price adjourned the matter to the same court on October 24.
