A man is set to appear before Port Macquarie Local Court on Thursday, August 29 after he was charged with traffic and drug offences in Bonny Hills.

On Wednesday, August 28 at about 3.45pm police conducted a vehicle stop on Bonny View Drive.
The 37-year-old driver was arrested when police found he was allegedly driving on a disqualified licence.
Upon searching him and the vehicle, police allegedly located a tomahawk, cash, a small amount of a prohibited drug and related paraphernalia.
The man was taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital to supply blood and urine for testing and then to Port Macquarie Police Station.
Police obtained a warrant to search the man's residence on Bonny View Drive, Bonny Hills.
Police found a shotgun and ammunition. They also discovered a boat and a trailer, allegedly stolen in May 2018.
The 37-year-old was charged with goods suspected being stolen (vessel).
He was also charged with driving while disqualified, goods suspected being stolen (not motor vehicle), possession of prohibited drug equipment and possession of prohibited drug.
