Port Macquarie Shark Jayden Ehsman has discovered that ahead of this Saturday's auction at Port Macquarie Racecourse.
Steve Mortimer, Harry Wells and Mick Sullivan will attend as guest speakers on the night.
Ehsman suffered a severe neck injury that ended his career earlier this year and Sharks coach Ben Kirkland said he now faced ongoing medical costs.
"He's still got a pretty long journey ahead; he's still got a rod in his neck and the money raised from some of the big ticket items will go straight to him," he said.
Among the items being auctioned are jerseys from the NSW Blues, Wests Tigers, Melbourne Storm, Penrith Panthers and St George Illawarra Dragons.
South Sydney star Adam Reynolds has also donated a pair of signed boots while the Sydney Swans have donated a signed AFL ball.
The cost is $80 per person which includes a two-course meal and complimentary drinks on arrival for a 6.30pm start.
To purchase a ticket, email pmqsharks@gmail.com or message the Port Macquarie Sharks Rugby League Football Club on Facebook.
