Emergency services were alerted to the incident at about 4.15pm on Wednesday, August 7.
The State Emergency Service (SES), NSW Police and Fire and Rescue NSW sent crews to the headland and discovered a 13-year-old and 14-year-old girl were trapped and couldn't get down.
SES crews launched a rescue mission and the girls were safely retrieved within 30 minutes.
They did not sustain any injuries.
SES Port Macquarie unit commander Michael Ward said the rescue went smoothly.
"We got a call to two people in a tree on a ledge," he said.
"We attended the scene and assisted the two ladies down to the ground.
"We have done a few rescues at this location, they are always slightly different."
Nobbys headland is notoriously a dangerous location and anyone exploring the area is urged to do so with caution.
