Lucas and his American girlfriend Chynna Deese along with another Canadian national were allegedly killed by two Canadian teenagers.
Police are currently still searching for the alleged killers.
The wanted pair have already been charged with killing Vancouver botanist Leonard Dyck, who was found dead on a highway near where Fowler and Deese's bodies were discovered.
Friday's memorial service is at the Turramurra Uniting Church and commences at 11am.
Family and friends of Ms Deese attended a memorial service on Saturday July 27.
Ms Deese was described by friends as a lover of travel and adventure who was taken much too soon.
Deese's brother British Deese told ABC News that the family has seen "thousands of people reach out to us who came in contact with her overseas, and sharing all kinds of experiences of how Lucas and Chynna has touched their lives".
Tributes flow
Tributes for the Deese have been pouring in since a GoFundMe page was set up to help the family cover the expenses for a funeral and the memorial.
So far more than US$10,000 have been raised, with their goal being to reach US$15,000.
Meanwhile police have so far failed to find the fugitive pair following an intensive search operation in the tiny Canadian town of York Landing in Manitoba province.
The isolated community is only accessible by air or a two-hour ferry crossing.
Police redirected the hunt for murder suspects Kam McLeod, 19, and Bryer Schmegelsky, 18, to the area after a local resident reported possibly seeing the pair foraging for food on Monday AEDT.
However, police were returning to their previous search headquarters of Gillam after failing to locate the pair.
York Landing, with a population of 443 people, is a 30 kilometre drive from Split Lake, where the suspects were most recently sighted last week.
Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) spokeswoman Julie Courchaine had earlier told reporters that police had not been able to confirm the reported sighting of the suspects or to make contact with them.
