Tickets are on sale for The Student Heart Project's 2019 Red & Blue Ball which will be staged at Panthers Port Macquarie on September 20.
Ball supporters will enjoy a two course dinner and music provided by band Dirty Coverz.
The night will feature a variety of prizes thanks to sponsors, a silent auction, raffle, photo booth and more.
Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
The ball is The Student Heart Project's main fundraiser.
A dedicated group of Charles Sturt University Port Macquarie Campus paramedic students are behind the initiative which raises funds for defibrillators in the community.
The aim is to make Port Macquarie and surrounding areas heart safe.
The Student Heart Project president Adam Lawes said every dollar raised from the ball counted.
The group will also thank the event's sponsors as part of the ball.
The Student Heart Project secretary Isabella Harrison said they also hoped to continue to raise awareness through the ball about the importance of having defibrillators in the community in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest.
The student-driven initiative is preparing to place its 16th defibrillator in the community.
Mr Lawes said businesses interested in having a defibrillator approached the group, while the committee was also always looking for businesses which wanted to give back to the community in that way.
A 17-member committee of first, second and third year paramedic students organises the ball.
Tickets, which cost $60 each, are available through Charles Sturt University's online shop or call Isabella Harrison on 0413 623 159.
