Street artist Damon Moroney rates ArtWalk as a must-do arts and cultural event for community members.
The Port Macquarie-based street artist, who has been involved in ArtWalk for the past three years, won't miss out on the artistic action either on Thursday, July 18.
Mr Moroney will set up on the Town Green and use spray paint to create an artwork on plywood.
Animals and nature will inspire the piece.
"I've always liked nature and trying to preserve nature and open people's eyes to what we have around this area," Mr Moroney said.
The community will explore the Port Macquarie CBD through arts and culture from digital projections to exhibitions, music and more during the ArtWalk evening from 6pm to 9pm on Thursday, July 18.
Artists will be dotted around the CBD.
The cultural offerings continue beyond the ArtWalk night as the 2019 program has expanded to feature satellite events from July 19 to 21.
Mr Moroney said ArtWalk was well supported.
"It's a massive turnout every year and it gets bigger and bigger," he said.
"To be able to showcase talent is great.
"Port Macquarie is a big arts place and not a lot of people realise that."
ArtWalk, presented by Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, helps to raise awareness about the area's creative industries.
Mr Moroney's participation in ArtWalk has lifted his profile and generated work opportunities.
Town centre businesses also back ArtWalk through hosting creative pursuits from exhibitions to demonstrations and live music.
Laing+Simmons Port Macquarie licensee and principal Chris Koch said the town just buzzed during ArtWalk.
"From a council point of view, this is probably one of the best things that takes people to the centre of town and showcases local talent," he said.
Laing+Simmons Port Macquarie's support for ArtWalk in 2019 will include a showcase of work by artists Harold Le Jeune and Kim McLean.
