It comes after England were awarded the 2019 Cricket World Cup despite scoring the same amount of runs and losing one more wicket in the same amount of overs as New Zealand in Monday morning's final.
Both teams scored 241 in their allotted 50-over innings'.
Then they couldn't be separated in a Super Over at the completion of the game where both teams scored 15 runs off the extra six balls.
England were then handed the trophy on a countback. Under the playing conditions if the teams are level after a Super Over, the team hitting the most boundaries will be awarded the win.
Deputy Mid North Coast Cricket Council chairman Craig Lobegeier said there was nothing in their playing conditions that stated what would happen in the unlikely event of a tied grand final.
Currently, a tied grand final would result in joint premiers being named.
That would potentially now change after what happened at the home of cricket.
"Currently there is nothing stated in our playing conditions, but it's (a Super Over) definitely worth considering," Lobegier said.
"It's an interesting point which will be discussed with the clubs at our next meeting."
Other alternative methods could also be put forward.
"We would need to consider our options - a Super Over, a tied position or a replay the following weekend," Lobegeier said.
"Although, a Super Over means the game is done and dusted on the day."
Under the current playing conditions relating to a semi-final, the highest-ranked team progresses to the grand final.
But that could also be revisited with a Super Over a possible outcome for all finals matches.
"You have guys that work six months a year to get to the grand final," Lobegeier said.
"But we haven't thought about it and there will be a recommendation set to the playing group.
"I think there will be committees the world over that will have a look at their playing conditions now."
