The 13-year-old became the youngest-ever winner of Port Macquarie Golf Club's Women's Championship last month when she proved too good by 11 shots.
Rounds of 86, 84 and 85 saw her extend her one-shot lead to six shots by the end of the second round which she in turn extended further on the third and final day.
"I stayed calm and had three consistent rounds and it was the first time I've won it," she said.
"I thought I could win it because I've been playing good golf and my handicap is low. To win a club championship is a pretty prestigious thing whether it's the ladies or the men."
The teenager pipped Lily Baker by around three months as the youngest-ever winner after she also won the event as a 13-year-old in 2013.
The club championship has a long-running history having started back in 1953, so why did she decide to compete in it?
"I just wanted to challenge myself and this was a good competition to do it in," she said.
It was a good opportunity for Scaysbrook to finetune her skills ahead of testing herself on the challenging layouts of Belmont and Charlestown Golf Courses over four days from Tuesday.
She will defend her junior state age title in Newcastle after she won the 12 years and under division 12 months ago.
On that occasion, she claimed her first Jack Newton Junior Golf state title when she defeated Cronulla's Sophia Perkins by five shots.
"My handicap is lower and I've been playing better golf so I'm a bit nervous and a bit excited," she said
The Port Macquarie product has her sights set on the big stage.
"There's definitely a (long-term) plan and that's to go on the LPGA within 10 years."
But her love for the sport can be traced all the way back to Christmas as a seven-year-old when the family were shopping for a present for father Nick.
"I saw a golf set that was my size and it was pink so I said I wanted that for Christmas and that was how it all started," she said.
