Georgia Perkins also found the back of the net as Omni cruised past Camden Haven Venom 3-0 after leading 1-0 at the break.
Omni captain Alice Hudson said their season had taken a while to get going, but was confident they were now playing consistently to the best of their ability.
"It was a very good game especially for our team," she said.
"We've had a slow start to the season but it's finally clicking and it's paying off because we're playing well and finally scoring goals.
"It's a very young team and it's also a new team. Most of us haven't played together before so they're probably the main two reasons (it's taken a while to play consistently)."
With the season now just over the halfway point, the young Tacking Point team have found what works and are starting to benefit.
"I think there's only five of us out of school," Hudson said.
"But what we have done is click with the younger ones and we now have that speed and agility to outsmart the more experienced teams."
Hudson felt the three-goal win was a strong indication of how the match panned out.
"I think it was a true reflection of how we played," she said.
"Camden Haven were a really strong team at the start of the tournament because they have really experienced players and that knowledge base.
"Lots of them played together last year in a rep team."
The Venom currently occupy the bottom rung of the ladder, but captain Catherine Carroll conceded the match was a reflection of their season so far.
"We've been really close in a lot of our matches, but haven't been finding that last link where we end up in the goal circle," she said.
"It's been our downfall in the first half of the season, but there were two ripper goals from Annika and Maddi."
One was an impressive tomahawk into the top right corner which "you just don't save".
Carroll admitted her side had had a stop-start season, but some of the younger girls were starting to find their feet.
"We probably had more chances than them, but we just couldn't convert, but it's been a massive step up for the younger girls," she said.
"We've had a lot of games where we've been locked at 2-all and then conceded goals after the whistle to go down 3-2."
