The Newcastle Jets striker found the back of the net eight times to take her Herald Women's Premier League season tally to 36 while the high-flying Eagles improved to 43 points.

New Lambton coach Keelan Hamilton described the game over last-placed Mid North Coast as "probably one of the best performances that we've had in my time at the club".

"It was overall very accomplished and a really good performance from goalkeeper all the way through and everybody did their job, and did it to a really high standard," he said.

Georgia Amess bagged a brace and Lauren Allan, Sophie Jones and Jenna Kennedy all got on the scoresheet.

Mid North Coast coach Mick Grass stopped short of suggesting his team were beaten before they took the field, but admitted their application wasn't good enough.

"We learned that if we're going to even compete with these sorts of sides we have to be at our absolute best and we were nowhere near it," he said.

"It was a completely different level of effort yesterday to what we've had in the last couple of weeks.

"A couple of players heads weren't quite there and we know they are humans; they're not aliens or anything supernatural."

Grass admitted he did sit back and appreciate moments of Andrews' masterclass.

"Of course you marvel at how good they are and I hope our girls realise how much hard work goes in to get to that level," he said.

"There's a bit more than just turning up to training two times a week; there are a lot of extras you do."

The Eagles are now 12 points clear of second-placed South Wallsend.

"They're that far ahead of the competition for a reason," he said.
