Ian Last, 48, was refused bail once again after his case returned to Port Macquarie Local Court before Magistrate Price on June 20.
Mr Last is alleged to have breached an AVO and bail conditions before stabbing two people in a domestic dispute on February 6, 2019.
Officers from the Mid North Coast Police District attended a home in Port Macquarie following reports of an alleged argument.
Officers arrested Mr Last after he allegedly threatened a man and a woman, aged 80 and 82 years. He was granted conditional bail, and issued an interim domestic violence order.
It is alleged he then returned to the home where he again threatened the couple with a knife before stabbing them.
Mr Last was charged with two counts of wound a person with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, destroy or damage property and breaching an apprehended violence order and bail.
He has not entered a plea.
The case has been adjourned to Port Macquarie Local Court on July 18, 2019.
