After a long year completing a number of fundraising projects the club were pleased to have fundraised over $66,000 for local and international projects.
Some of the highlights include raising $17,000 from the Big Dig, the completion of the Liberty Swing at Town Beach and the continued support of a rural school in Nepal.
At a dinner on June 22, outgoing president Malcolm McNeil said he was proud of everything that had been achieved during his year.
"It has been a wonderful year and so many people in our club have inspired us to keep doing what we do," Mr McNeil said.
"We have done so many great projects this year including getting the Liberty Swing installed, a record fundraising year with the Big Dig a few weeks ago and formed a great partnership with the Rotary Club of Coonamble to help during the drought.
"One of our projects 'Little things make a big difference' was a chance for all of us to do little things to help those in need and from collecting coats, batteries and toiletries this club project was a success.
"We are also very proud of all the youth projects and opportunities we have created for our youth including supporting students to go on youth exchange and to attend RYLA."
Mr McNeil also presented Pam Foye with a Paul Harris Fellow sapphire pin for her dedication to the club as treasurer.
Incoming president Carolyn Ireland said she was humbled by the opportunity to lead the club in the new year.
"I am thankful for the club for putting their trust in me to be president and we have lots of exciting plans to make a difference in the community," Mrs Ireland said.
