As part of grandparents and special friends day students were able to bring a loved one into class to show them some of the work they are currently doing.
In each grade students are participating in a project based learning activity which encompasses elements from all their subjects.
In Kindergarten students are looking at if it is possible for the class to have a pet while year five students are looking at space.
Acting principal Rochelle Weiss said it had been a great day for students, grandparents and special friends alike.
"We have had lots of grandparents and special friends visit us in the classroom today and students have been showing our guests all the different things they have been doing at school," Ms Weiss said.
"I big focus for us at the moment are our project based learning activities and our guests have taken a keen interest in what we have been doing.
"In some classes our guests have participated in activities and others they have supported our students but it has been a really great day."
