Sir Elton John announced his huge Aussie Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour back in February, but has now committed to even more dates - including one 150km up the road from Port Macquarie.
He'll be making his way from Perth all the way across the country to finish up his tour with these newly announced shows in Geelong, Melbourne, Coffs Harbour, Townsville, Sunshine Coast, and finally, Sydney. Plus, he'll be hitting up A Day On The Green.
"The Coffs Coast should get ready to welcome one hell of a showman in February next year, as the very first musician to perform at C.ex Coffs International Stadium," promoter Michael Chugg said.
The "rocket man" will play C.ex Coffs International Stadium on Wednesday, February 26, 2020.
- Telstra Thanks pre-sale will take place at 9am, Tuesday, June 18, while tickets for the show go on sale from 9am, Tuesday, June 25, at Ticketek.
The three-year global Farewell Yellow Brick Road is expected to be the curtain call for the legendary performer in Australia, and from touring.
The tour began in September 2018 and is designed to celebrate the half a century Elton John and lyricist Bernie Taupin have collaborated.
I always love coming back to Australia, John said in a statement. Ever since my first visit in 1971 it has held a very special place in my heart.
I plan to bring to my final tour the passion and creativity that has entertained my fans for decades its the most produced and fantastic show Ive ever done."
