The bands were spread across two stages at Black Duck Brewery.
The Howling Moon Blues Festival attracted music lovers from the Hastings and further afield.
Festival spokesperon Kara Durose attributed the festival's success to the calibre of the bands, the venue and great food vendors.
"It's an awesome atmosphere," she said.
Organisers are doing their bit to keep live music alive in Port Macquarie.
The crowd was kept entertained with bands from as far as Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, as well as bands from the Hastings.
The festival included a dedicated VIP area.
The annual Howling Moon Blues Festival is in its second year with organisers planning to make the festival bigger each year.
