The party kicks off from 4pm to 10pm and features DJ Colin at Port City Bowling Club on Saturday, June 8.
Organiser Mike Parsons said it was going to be a fantastic time out on the town.
"There will be lots of dance music, trance and lots of Kylie Minogue," he said. "As well as Madonna, Cher and the Pet Shop Boys.
"The main aim is for people to have fun and wear whatever costumes they want to wear.
"It's about having fun and being yourself."
Mr Parsons is known at festive events having attended Mardi Gras 16 times and hosting similar Lesbigay events in Melbourne.
"I hope people enjoy themselves. We've already got some people indicating they will come in leather or as fairies," he said.
"The community needs events like this because there are a lot of gay and lesbian people living here with nothing to do.
"Hopefully if we sell this one out, we'll have another."
Tickets are cash only $60 at the door with proceeds to Uniting. Ticket numbers are capped at 100.
