Brickfest 2019 was a showcase of the wonders of LEGO making and offered participants options to build their own creations and ask questions of volunteer stall holders.
Wonder and excitement was plastered on the faces of everyone walking around more than 20 exhibits with a number of local stalls also in the mix.
One highlight was a LEGO village equipped with moving wind turbines, huge tower and a train circling along with the award winning robotics crew from Hastings Secondary College who were showcasing a number of their creations.
Organiser, Kevin Evans said the event was probably the biggest one yet.
"Brickfest happens because of dedicated volunteers coming together and the community's love of LEGO," Mr Evans said.
"Again in 2019 we are raising money for two local causes and all the money raised from the event will go back into helping the local community.
"Brickfest is such an awesome event because we get to see sheer joy on the faces of everyone who comes through the doors.
"From the little kids right through to the adults who are bringing their kids along it is such a fun and happy day to be part of."
