Benjamin John Black has entered a plea of not guilty to one count of murder in Port Macquarie Local Court.
The 33-year-old faced the court on one count of murder and one count of manslaughter on May 23.
Black, of Oceanview Terrace, Port Macquarie will now face Sydney's Supreme Court on July 12, 2019.
He is accused of murdering Jacob John King at Port Macquarie on May 4, 2018.
The incident allegedly occurred at a premises in the vicinity of Rushcutter Way and Beacon Court, Port Macquarie where the victim was stabbed and died as a result of his injuries.
