The $8678 community grant to the Hastings Valley Amateur Beekeepers Association will help with bee education and biosecurity awareness.
The club is among 12 organisations to share in $83,421 under Port Macquarie-Hastings Council's community grants 2018-2019 round two.
Ten community groups have benefited from the general community grants and two organisations were successful in the placemaking grants category.
The organisations are spread from Bonny Hills to Comboyne, Wauchope, Laurieton and Port Macquarie, as well as others with a Hastings focus.
Hastings Valley Amateur Beekeepers Association president Charles Watkins said the grant would allow the group to run its meetings and educational displays with more ease and professionalism.
The grant will fund equipment including a laptop, projector, screen, marquee, tables and display boards.
"It will make life a lot easier and it will add a touch of professionalism to everything we do," Mr Watkins said.
Hastings Valley Amateur Beekeepers Association started five months ago with 16 members.
Today the club has 53 members.
The club's mission statement is to support and encourage new and experienced beekeepers in the club environment, offering education through teaching and interactive practical learning.
The club celebrated World Bee Day with an information day at the Bonny Hills Garden Centre on Sunday, May 19.
The day focused on how to look after bees and garden planting for bees.
Hastings Valley Amateur Beekeepers Association meets at 6.30pm on the second Wednesday of the month at the Wauchope Showground agricultural hall.
