The seventh place Breakers will face off against the sixth spot Bulls during round six of the group three rugby league from 2.30pm on Saturday, May 18 at Jack Neal Oval.
The Breakers are still licking their wounds from a close shave loss to the Macleay Valley Mustangs, 15-8.
"The effort was there but we lacked polish," said Kemp about the match against the Mustangs.
"I thought we were better for long stretches of the game and I'm happy with 80 per cent of our field transition but our attacking 20 needs more improvement.
"The season is taking some time and we have fallen away for different reasons but I haven't lost confidence.
"It's been a stop and start kind of season, hopefully have a win and get points this weekend."
The Breakers will be blooding two major debutantes this weekend against the Bulls, Elia Glassie and Matt Burge.
"Elia Gllassie will be on the wing and Matt Burge on the bench before going into the centre," said Kemp.
"They have been standouts in the under 18s, lets give them a crack."
In the other matches this weekend, Wauchope Blues will take on Macleay Valley Mustangs from 3pm at Lank Bain Oval on Saturday, May 18.
Forster Tuncurry Hawks will play Port Macquarie Sharks from 3pm at Port Macquarie Regional Stadium also on May 18.
Old Bar Beach Pirates have the Sunday, May 19 game against Wingham Tigers at Old Bar Reserve from 3pm.
