Protection forester Mick Wilson said the service ensures all precautions are taken before conducting burns.
"The cool dry weather helps us to protect the community and our forests with carefully planned fire," Mr Wilson said.
Hazard reduction burns will be carefully monitored to ensure they stay within cleared containment lines and people should stay away from any burning or recently burnt areas for their own safety.
Motorists should also take care when driving in smoky conditions. Smoke may be visible along the Pacific Highway and in some nearby towns.
The burns will be visible on the Fires Near Me app as planned events.
The service recently completed burns in state forests near Old Bar, Coopernook, Eungai and Collombatti.
This year, they will complete 20,000 hectares of hazard reduction within state forests in the area.
